For example, if you have Medicare Part B, you have to pay 20% of all your Medicare approved expenses. And unlike regular insurance, your 20% has no cap. Whether you need a CT scan or major surgery, 20% of the cost is your responsibility.

Medicare Supplement Plans, or Medigap Plans, cover the gaps of regular Medicare by offsetting copays, deductibles, and coinsurance that generic Medicare doesn’t cover.
Rather than a supplemental plan, the Medicare Advantage Plan is a substitute for regular Medicare. The primary ‘advantage’ of the Medicare Advantage Plan is affordability. Although you are limited to the plan’s network providers, Medicare Advantage is usually less expensive than a Medicare Supplement Plan.
Medicare Part D is ideal for clients who use multiple prescription drugs regularly. Part D can offset the cost of prescriptions for a low monthly premium.
